In an interview with PEOPLE, Bailey, known for his role in Fellow Travelers, expressed his admiration for his fellow cast members, emphasizing the strong bond that has formed among the theater-loving ensemble.

Bailey takes on the role of Prince Fiyero, the love interest of Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba, and he couldn't be more impressed with her performance. Describing Erivo as "incredible," Bailey is excited for audiences to witness her portrayal of The Wicked Witch of the West.

The actor also had high praise for Michelle Yeoh, fresh off her Oscar win, who joined Bailey and Ariana Grande in the cast as Madame Morrible. Recalling a scene with Yeoh, Bailey humorously imagined the Oscar watching off-screen as the brilliance unfolded. He commended Yeoh's singing and overall brilliance.

Despite a hectic schedule, Bailey managed to squeeze Wicked into his agenda, sharing a particularly "wild" weekend that involved filming Fellow Travelers with Matt Bomer in Toronto on Sunday, shooting Bridgerton in London on Saturday, and rehearsing choreography with Grande for Wicked on Sunday. Bailey humorously acknowledged the challenges, especially for Bomer, with whom he shared a trailer during dance rehearsals.
