During the incident at the Chateau Marmont, Spears sustained a foot injury but did not receive medical treatment from the responding paramedics, the sources stated. They also mentioned that Spears departed with her security team and without her boyfriend.
On Instagram later that Thursday afternoon, Spears shared that she had twisted her ankle and claimed that paramedics "illegally" showed up at her door. Although they did not enter her room, she expressed feeling "completely harassed" and announced her intention to relocate to Boston.
Representatives for Spears have not yet commented on this specific event.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that paramedics responded to a report of an injured adult female at the Chateau Marmont on Thursday morning but did not disclose Spears' identity as the individual involved in the 911 call.
Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, disclosed that the call was received at 12:42 a.m. regarding an injured adult female at the Chateau Marmont.
Humphrey mentioned that it remains uncertain whether the paramedics encountered the individual who had reportedly been injured or provided medical assistance.
He clarified that no law enforcement officers were called to the scene, and the paramedics departed at 1:17 a.m.
Regarding the comments made by Spears on social media, Humphrey stated that the LAFD does not have an immediate response.
