Steven Yeun, who has been nominated for an Academy Award, is now making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Joining him in "Thunderbolts" are Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
While Yeun's character is still a mystery, the film is set to shoot this June. Whoever he is portraying, it's likely that his part will be integral to the continuing growth of the MCU.
Scheduled for theatres on July 26, 2024, Jake Schreier is directing "Thunderbolts." The MCU's fifth phase, launching with "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" and followed by "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," "The Marvels," "Captain America: New World Order," "Blade," and "Deadpool 3" .

On-screen, the cast is comprised of Olga Kurylenko in the role of Taskmaster, Pugh being Yelena Belova, Stan as Bucky Barnes,David Harbour embodying Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell playing John Walker,and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine. Additionally, Ayo Edebiri, the star of "The Bear," is now part of the team in an unnamed role.
Yeun, who achieved fame on "The Walking Dead" and was nominated for an Oscar for "Minari," just recently starred in Jordan Peele's UFO thriller "Nope." His next project entails working with Robert Pattinson and filmmaker Bong Joon Ho on the sci-fi film "Micky 17" .
