Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have come to terms in their divorce proceedings, almost seven months following the initial filing.

According to documents obtained by YEPPOST.com, the divorce will progress uncontested. The documents reveal that Vergara and Manganiello have reached a written agreement concerning their assets and marital rights.

This agreement received approval on April 4, as per documents filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, which also officially ended their marriage on the same date.

The documents specify the termination of spousal support for both parties. Details regarding the division of property and attorney fees are outlined in the written agreement between the former spouses.

Since their separation in July 2023, fans have speculated about the reasons behind their split. Vergara addressed this in an interview with Spanish newspaper "El País," where she discussed her decision to end her marriage with Manganiello.

"My marriage ended because my husband was younger and wanted children, whereas I did not wish to become an older mother. I believe it wouldn't be fair to the child. I respect those who choose otherwise, but it's not for me anymore," explained the "America's Got Talent" judge.

Vergara, who already has a son named Manolo Gonzalez Vergara from a previous marriage, expressed her lack of desire to have another child at this stage of her life.

"I became a mother at 19, and now my son is 32. I'm ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if I find love again, he must come with his own children. I'm nearing menopause, and it's a natural phase of life," she stated. "When my son becomes a father, he can bring the baby to me for a while, and then I'll return the baby to him and continue with my life. That's my plan."

After nearly eight years of marriage, Manganiello filed for divorce on July 19, 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of their separation.

According to court documents, Manganiello stated July 2, 2023, as the date of their separation. The couple had a prenuptial agreement, and spousal support will be provided as per their arrangement.

In August, during an episode of "America's Got Talent," Vergara's co-star Howie Mandel made a jest about her divorce. This occurred after ventriloquist and magician Brynn Cummings performed with her puppet and jokingly asked judge Heidi Klum to arrange a date for the puppet.

"If I could offer one piece of advice, if you're on the lookout for eligible bachelors, you should've consulted Sofia because she's currently on the market," Mandel quipped.

In reply, Vergara exclaimed, "Yes!" as she raised her hands in the air.

The romance between the "Modern Family" actress and the "True Blood" actor blossomed in July 2014. Their relationship quickly progressed, culminating in an engagement just six months later, in December of that same year.

In November 2015, at ages 51 and 46 respectively, Vergara and Manganiello exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida. Their wedding was attended by a plethora of stars, including her "Modern Family" co-stars and notable celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, Pitbull, and Channing Tatum. The couple delightedly shared glimpses of their enchanting day on Instagram, portraying a fairy-tale-like celebration.

During a 2018 appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Manganiello revealed his tactics to win Vergara's affections. While she was working on a film in New Orleans, he made a spontaneous visit and presented her with an issue of People magazine featuring him on the cover as the "Number One Bachelor in the World."

He approached Vergara, saying, "'I know you just ended a long-term relationship, and if you need to be single, I understand. I won't like it, but I'll accept it. But before you answer, I want to show you something.'"

"I reached into my bag and placed the magazine down, saying, 'Numero uno,'" he recounted, describing how she picked up the magazine and flipped through it. "And she responded, 'I'm checking out who else made the list.'"

Nevertheless, his persistence paid off, and he ultimately won her heart.

Speculation about their relationship arose among their social media followers following Vergara's 51st birthday in July 2023, when Manganiello shared a somewhat cryptic birthday message for her, accompanied by a blurry photo, writing, "¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!"

"Does anyone else find it odd? 'Sofia'... not even 'My love, My dear wife,'" remarked one individual, while another chimed in, "Something seems off. A distant message for her, and he's posted twice about his dog's birthday. And Sofia hasn't even acknowledged it."

"Joe, I hope everything's alright with you guys. That was a very different (cold) birthday wish for your wife compared to previous ones!" expressed another concerned commenter.
