Travis Kelce, the three-time Super Bowl champion, had an exhilarating time at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last week. Alongside his girlfriend Taylor Swift, who had an intriguing encounter with a "Real Housewives" star, Kelce shared that the festival was a truly unforgettable experience for him.
Expressing his passion for live music, Kelce emphasized his deep appreciation for the energy and ambiance of live performances. During the April 17 episode of his "New Heights" podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, he reflected on the enjoyment he derives from experiencing live music, noting that it is a rare treat in his busy life.
Kelce expressed his enthusiasm for attending events and immersing himself in diverse cultural experiences, highlighting his appreciation for witnessing various talents and soaking in different atmospheres. He particularly enjoyed the eclectic mix of music genres at Coachella, emphasizing that the festival offers a wide range of musical styles to explore.
Describing his time at Coachella as "fun," Kelce mentioned his delight in discovering new bands and artists during the event, expressing his desire to attend again in the future. He also praised Jack Antonoff and his band Bleachers for delivering an electrifying performance, noting Antonoff's impressive guitar skills and the enjoyment he derived from watching their set.
Kelce expressed his fondness for Coachella and his hope to continue attending in the future, although he acknowledged the challenge of finding time in his busy offseason schedule.
Jason Kelce hinted at his brother's attendance at the festival alongside Swift.
"We're aware of who you attended with. We've seen the photos. We know," he remarked.
The Kelce brothers gave a shout-out to Swift for promoting their podcast by donning a green "New Heights" hat at Coachella.
"The green hat sold out in no time," noted Jason Kelce.
He anticipated that his brother and the "Cruel Summer" artist would spend time backstage, but it turned out they spent a lot of time in the crowd. Travis Kelce mentioned that he preferred it that way.
"I enjoy seeing it from the fans' perspective," he expressed. "I'm a music enthusiast. I love live performances. Experiencing it from the front row is my preference, yeah.
"We could have arranged it differently, but being in the midst of the crowd, in the chaos, adds to the experience. It was fantastic, though."
