Sophie Turner expressed deep gratitude for the support she received from Taylor Swift during a challenging period in her life.
In a recent interview with British Vogue, the "Game of Thrones" star shared insights into her friendship with Swift and how the singer played a pivotal role during Turner's divorce from Joe Jonas.
“Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year,” Turner remarked.
Turner recounted reaching out to Swift in September 2023 when she found herself without a place to stay in New York City. She asked if Swift knew of any apartments for rent, and to her surprise, Swift generously offered her own NYC home for Turner and her daughters to stay in, free of charge.
“I’ve never felt more grateful to anyone than I am to her because she took my children and me in, providing us with a home and a safe haven,” Turner shared. “She truly has a heart of gold.”

The following month, Turner accompanied Swift to a Kansas City Chiefs game, and she spent time with Swift and a group of friends in November.
To ring in the new year, Turner shared a photo with Swift and other friends on social media, captioning it with, "2023 was all about the girlies. The forecast for 2024 looks pretty consistent."
Turner and Swift's friendship has flourished notably in recent months, although they have been acquainted for several years. Back in 2019, Turner shared with Extra that she and Swift were "friends."
“She’s a really kind person. We've crossed paths a few times before,” Turner mentioned during a conversation about their joint appearance on “The Graham Norton Show.” “We're friends. She certainly wasn’t gushing over me. No, no, no. I'm the one who's a huge fan of her.”

In 2018, reports from "Entertainment Tonight" indicated that Turner posted a video on her Instagram story for her 22nd birthday, where she sang Swift's popular song "22."
Furthermore, in 2022, Turner and Jonas participated in a TikTok Live session where they shared their favorite Swift albums, as seen in a video posted by the X account SwifferUpdates.
