Snoop Dogg is grieving the loss of his younger brother, Bing Worthington Jr.

A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Sergeant Frank Gonzalez, confirmed Worthington Jr.'s passing to NBC News.

The 44-year-old, a resident of Anaheim, California, passed away on Feb. 15. Sergeant Gonzalez stated that the cause of death will await the results of the toxicology and autopsy report.

A representative for Snoop Dogg has not yet responded to YEPPOST.com's request for comment.

On Feb. 16, the rapper, known by his birth name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., posted a video on Instagram showing himself and others at a cemetery.

"@badabing33 always made us laugh 💙🙏😢 u bac with moms," he wrote alongside the clip.

Tyrese commented on the post, saying, "Stay strong big bro…. I’m sorry this happened….. Prayers love and light to you and your family."

Xzibit, Rock Rock, Terrace Martin, Tamar Braxton, and other artists and friends also conveyed their condolences.

The "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper additionally posted a photo of his late brother and mother, Beverly Tate, together, captioning it, "@badabing33 bac wit momma." Tate passed away in October 2021.

Furthermore, he shared a group photo and a solo picture of himself with his younger brother.

Worthington Jr. collaborated with Snoop in various capacities, serving as his tour manager and overseeing Snoop Dogg Skateboards. He is also credited as an executive producer on "Bigg Snoop Dogg: Raw 'N Uncut Vol. 1" and as a writer on the song "Tha Jump Off" from the "Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj" soundtrack, as per IMDB.

In 2016, Worthington Jr. merged his own Dogg Records with Canadian hip-hop label Urban Heat Legends, as reported by Vice. When asked about his proudest moments in his business ventures, he highlighted his work on his brother's 'Eastsidaz' album, particularly the song "Be Thankful," which he wrote. He recounted how Snoop, Warren G, and KAM were involved in the song, and how he successfully rose to the challenge of writing it. Worthington Jr. expressed pride in his ability to contribute creatively and earn recognition within the industry.
