Kelly Clarkson recently had her children, River Rose and Remington, join her on stage during her Las Vegas concert. The 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son sang separate songs with their mother, and Clarkson couldn't help but express her pride and love for her kids on Instagram.

Taking photos backstage of my children in Vegas as they ready to come out on stage with me---nothing can ever measure up to the coolness and awesomeness of these two cuties.

Remington, who wore a Gucci T-shirt, was the first to take the stage. Clarkson asked him to choose a song, and he enthusiastically picked "Whole Lotta Woman." While his mom sang, Remy danced and received cheers from the audience. Clarkson can be heard in fan videos via TikTok saying, "Get it, Remy!"

Subsequently, River showed up in her striped dress embellished with frills, and red shoes, and performed with her mom on stage the song "Heartbreak Song."However, Clarkson made sure to censor a lyric for her daughter. Approximately thirty seconds in, she cautioned River against saying "hell" and crooned a milder version of the phrase: "Where the heck did you come from?"

But this isn't the first time Clarkson has had to censor her kids while singing. During an episode of the Audacy Check-In podcast in June, she revealed that her children enjoy swearing while singing along to her music. She had to instruct her daughter not to say a certain word in one of her songs.

Clarkson is no stranger to adapting her lyrics to fit different situations. In the wake of their divorce in 2020, she revised the words to songs referencing her former husband, Brandon Blackstock. One example is her song "Piece by Piece," which used to praise Blackstock but now serves as a self-empowerment anthem for Clarkson.

In March 2022, the divorce of the American Idol alum was completed. As part of the agreement, Clarkson was required to pay her former spouse $45,601 monthly for child support as well as $115,000 for spousal support until January 2024. Additionally, a lump sum payment of $1.3 million was mandatory.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Clarkson continues to prioritize her children and share special moments with them, such as performing together on stage. The bond between Clarkson and her kids shines through in her Instagram photos and videos, and fans can't help but be touched by their relationship.
